Sau. Mathurabai Bhausaheb Thorat Sevabhavi Trust, the parent body of S.M.B.T. Dhamangaon Educational Campus was established in 1984 by the visionary Late Shri Bhausaheb Santuji Thorat with the objective of bringing about educational and economic growth in rural & tribal areas. The Trust is now under the guidance of Hon'ble Balasaheb B. Thorat, Cabinet Minister of Revenue, Government of Maharashtra MLA, Hon'ble Dr. Sudhir B. Tambe, Government of Maharashtra, MLC and Dr. Harshal S. Tambe, Managing Trustee. Under their leadership the Trust has made great progress within a short span of 34 years. The Trust strives to impart quality education to the students. The Trust provides education from KG to PG & Doctorate level.

Sau Mathurabai Bhausaheb Thorat Sevabhavi Trust's S.M.B.T. Pharmacy, Nandi Hills, Dhamangaon, Tal. Igatpuri, Dist. Nashik was established in the year 2005-2006 with the mission to contribute to quality education to the rural & needy students. Presently we are conducting D.Pharm, B.Pharm & M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics & Pharm. Chem.) and Ph.D. Courses. The courses are approved by AICTE, DTE, PCI, MSBTE, Savitribai Phule Pune University and the State Government. In 2018, our B. Pharmacy course gets NBA accreditation by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi; India. The college encourages students to participate in various curricular and co-curricular activities.
